PROJECT BRIEF
Typography changes a viewer’s perception by building brand recognition and enables a viewer to create a context, helping to express the brand's personality. For the brands to reach more viewers, they use multiple languages. Because of language changes, at times the typeface changes as well, looking very unidentical. But, for a brand to be easily known, the typeface needs to look similar in every language. I was briefed to change the title of a Hollywood movie poster to Hindi Devanagari language maintaining the same typeface.
MY ROLE
I chose a movie called ‘The Disaster Artist’. It was quite challenging at first to change the language to Hindi while maintaining the same measurements of the typeface, but I was able to achieve almost the same result. I also made alphabets In the Hindi language with the same measurements of the typeface.
