Bilingual Typography - Type Exploration

Hindi Devanagari Typeface

This project explores how typography can remain recognisable across different languages. As brands expand globally, typefaces often change with language, risking inconsistency and loss of identity. Using The Disaster Artist as a case study, the original English title was reinterpreted in Hindi Devanagari while preserving the same typographic proportions and visual character. Custom Devanagari letterforms were created to closely match the structure and rhythm of the original type, demonstrating how consistency can be maintained across script.
